The Webster Bible (WBT) New International Version (NIV)
A Song [or] Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. 1 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Awake, psaltery and harp: I [myself] will awake early. 2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises to thee among the nations. 3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.
For thy mercy [is] great above the heavens: and thy truth [reacheth] to the clouds. 4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; 5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth.
That thy beloved may be delivered: save [with] thy right hand, and answer me. 6 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.
God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth. 7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Succoth.
Gilead [is] mine; Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim also [is] the strength of my head; Judah [is] my lawgiver; 8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter.
Moab [is] my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph. 9 Moab is my washbasin, upon Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph."
Who will bring me into the strong city: who will lead me into Edom? 10 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
[Wilt] not [thou], O God, [who] hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our armies? 11 Is it not you, O God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?
Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man. 12 Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.
Through God we shall do valiantly: for he will tread down our enemies. 13 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
