| 1 (15-1) <The inscription of a title to David himself.> Preserve me, O Lord, for I have put my trust in thee. | 1 Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. |
| 2 (15-2) I have said to the Lord, thou art my God, for thou hast no need of my goods. | 2 I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." |
| 3 (15-3) To the saints, who are in his land, he hath made wonderful all my desires in them. | 3 As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight. |
| 4 (15-4) Their infirmities were multiplied: afterwards they made haste. I will not gather together their meetings for blood offerings: nor will I be mindful of their names by my lips. | 4 The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips. |
| 5 (15-5) The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: it is thou that wilt restore my inheritance to me. | 5 LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. |
| 6 (15-6) The lines are fallen unto me in goodly places: for my inheritance is goodly to me. | 6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. |
| 7 (15-7) I will bless the Lord, who hath given me understanding: moreover, my reins also have corrected me even till night. | 7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. |
| 8 (15-8) I set the Lord always in my sight: for he is at my right hand, that I be not moved. | 8 I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. |
| 9 (15-9) Therefore my heart hath been glad, and my tongue hath rejoiced: moreover, my flesh also shall rest in hope. | 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, |
| 10 (15-10) Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; nor wilt thou give thy holy one to see corruption. | 10 because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. |
| 11 (15-11) Thou hast made known to me the ways of life, thou shalt fill me with joy with thy countenance: at thy right hand are delights even to the end. | 11 You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. |
