Psalm 25 DBY/NIV - Online Parallel Bible

The Darby Translation (DBY) New International Version (NIV)
{[A Psalm] of David.} Unto thee, Jehovah, do I lift up my soul. 1 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul;
My God, I confide in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. 2 in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.
Yea, none that wait on thee shall be ashamed: they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause. 3 No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse.
Make me to know thy ways, O Jehovah; teach me thy paths. 4 Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths;
Make me to walk in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. 5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Remember, Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy loving-kindnesses; for they are from everlasting. 6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to thy loving-kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, Jehovah. 7 Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD.
Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way: 8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
The meek will he guide in judgment, and the meek will he teach his way. 9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
All the paths of Jehovah are loving-kindness and truth for such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. 10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant.
For thy name's sake, O Jehovah, thou wilt indeed pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. 11 For the sake of your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
What man is he that feareth Jehovah? him will he instruct in the way [that] he should choose. 12 Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.
His soul shall dwell in prosperity, and his seed shall inherit the earth. 13 He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.
The secret of Jehovah is with them that fear him, that he may make known his covenant to them. 14 The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
Mine eyes are ever toward Jehovah; for he will bring my feet out of the net. 15 My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted. 16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
The troubles of my heart are increased: bring me out of my distresses; 17 The troubles of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish.
Consider mine affliction and my travail, and forgive all my sins. 18 Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.
Consider mine enemies, for they are many, and they hate me [with] cruel hatred. 19 See how my enemies have increased and how fiercely they hate me!
Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I trust in thee. 20 Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. 21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you.
Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles. 22 Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
