1 Beati quelli che sono integri nelle loro vie, che camminano secondo la legge dell’Eterno.

1 Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.
|
|
2 Beati quelli che osservano le sue testimonianze, che lo cercano con tutto il cuore,
|
2 Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.
|
|
3 ed anche non operano iniquità, ma camminano nelle sue vie.
|
3 They do nothing wrong; they walk in his ways.
|
|
4 Tu hai ordinato i tuoi precetti perché siano osservati con cura.
|
4 You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.
|
|
5 Oh siano le mie vie dirette all’osservanza dei tuoi statuti!
|
5 Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees!
|
|
6 Allora non sarò svergognato quando considererò tutti i tuoi comandamenti.
|
6 Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.
|
|
7 Io ti celebrerò con dirittura di cuore, quando avrò imparato i tuoi giusti decreti.
|
7 I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.
|
|
8 Io osserverò i tuoi statuti, non abbandonarmi del tutto.
|
8 I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.

9 Come renderà il giovane la sua via pura? Col badare ad essa secondo la tua parola.
|
9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.
|
|
10 Io ti ho cercato con tutto il mio cuore; non lasciarmi deviare dai tuoi comandamenti.
|
10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.
|
|
11 Io ho riposto la tua parola nel mio cuore per non peccare contro di te.
|
11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
|
|
12 Tu sei benedetto, o Eterno; insegnami i tuoi statuti.
|
12 Praise be to you, O LORD; teach me your decrees.
|
|
13 Ho raccontato con le mie labbra tutti i giudizi della tua bocca.
|
13 With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth.
|
|
14 Io gioisco nella via delle tue testimonianze, come se possedessi tutte le ricchezze.
|
14 I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
|
|
15 Io mediterò sui tuoi precetti e considerò i tuoi sentieri.
|
15 I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
|
|
16 Io mi diletterò nei tuoi statuti, non dimenticherò la tua parola.
|
16 I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.
|
|
17 Fa’ del bene al tuo servitore perché io viva ed osservi la tua parola.
|
17 Do good to your servant, and I will live; I will obey your word.

18 Apri gli occhi miei ond’io contempli le maraviglie della tua legge.

18 Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.

|
19 Io sono un forestiero sulla terra; non mi nascondere i tuoi comandamenti.

19 I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.
|
|
20 L’anima mia si strugge dalla brama che ha dei tuoi giudizi in ogni tempo.

20 My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times.
|
|
21 Tu sgridi i superbi, i maledetti, che deviano dai tuoi comandamenti.
|
21 You rebuke the arrogant, who are cursed and who stray from your commands.
|
|
22 Togli di sopra a me il vituperio e lo sprezzo, perché io ho osservato le tue testimonianze.
|
22 Remove from me scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes.
|
|
23 Anche quando i principi siedono e parlano contro di me, il tuo servitore medita i tuoi statuti.
|
23 Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.
|
|
24 Sì, le tue testimonianze sono il mio diletto e i miei consiglieri.
|
24 Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
|
|
25 L’anima mia è attaccata alla polvere; vivificami secondo la tua parola.
|
25 I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word.
|
|
26 Io ti ho narrato le mie vie, e tu m’hai risposto; insegnami i tuoi statuti.
|
26 I recounted my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees.
|
|
27 Fammi intendere la via dei tuoi precetti, ed io mediterò le tue maraviglie.
|
27 Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders.
|
|
28 L’anima mia, dal dolore, si strugge in lacrime; rialzami secondo la tua parola.
|
28 My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
|
|
29 Tieni lontana da me la via della menzogna, e, nella tua grazia, fammi intender la tua legge.
|
29 Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me through your law.
|
|
30 Io ho scelto la via della fedeltà, mi son posto i tuoi giudizi dinanzi agli occhi.
|
30 I have chosen the way of truth; I have set my heart on your laws.
|
|
31 Io mi tengo attaccato alle tue testimonianze; o Eterno, non lasciare che io sia confuso.
|
31 I hold fast to your statutes, O LORD; do not let me be put to shame.
|
|
32 Io correrò per la via dei tuoi comandamenti, quando m’avrai allargato il cuore.

32 I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.
|
|
33 Insegnami, o Eterno, la via dei tuoi statuti ed io la seguirò fino alla fine.

33 Teach me, O LORD, to follow your decrees; then I will keep them to the end.
|
|
34 Dammi intelletto e osserverò la tua legge; la praticherò con tutto il cuore.

34 Give me understanding, and I will keep your law and obey it with all my heart.
|
|
35 Conducimi per il sentiero dei tuoi comandamenti, poiché io mi diletto in esso.
|
35 Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.
|
|
36 Inclina il mio cuore alle tue testimonianze e non alla cupidigia.
|
36 Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
|
|
37 Distogli gli occhi miei dal contemplare la vanità, e vivificami nelle tue vie.
|
37 Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.
|
|
38 Mantieni al tuo servitore la tua parola, che inculca il tuo timore.
|
38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.
|
|
39 Rimuovi da me il vituperio ch’io temo, perché i tuoi giudizi son buoni.
|
39 Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good.
|
|
40 Ecco, io bramo i tuoi precetti, vivificami nella tua giustizia.
|
40 How I long for your precepts! Preserve my life in your righteousness.
|
|
41 Vengano su me le tue benignità, o Eterno, e la tua salvezza, secondo la tua parola.
|
41 May your unfailing love come to me, O LORD, your salvation according to your promise;
|
|
42 E avrò di che rispondere a chi mi fa vituperio, perché confido nella tua parola.
|
42 then I will answer the one who taunts me, for I trust in your word.
|
|
43 Non mi toglier del tutto dalla bocca la parola della verità, perché spero nei tuoi giudizi.
|
43 Do not snatch the word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.
|
|
44 Ed io osserverò la tua legge del continuo, in sempiterno.
|
44 I will always obey your law, for ever and ever.
|
|
45 E camminerò con libertà, perché ho cercato i tuoi precetti.
|
45 I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
|
|
46 Parlerò delle tue testimonianze davanti ai re e non sarò svergognato.
|
46 I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,
|
|
47 E mi diletterò nei tuoi comandamenti, i quali io amo.
|
47 for I delight in your commands because I love them.
|
|
48 Alzerò le mie mani verso i tuoi comandamenti che amo, e mediterò i tuoi statuti.

48 I lift up my hands to your commands, which I love, and I meditate on your decrees.
|
|
49 Ricordati della parola detta al tuo servitore; su di essa m’hai fatto sperare.

49 Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.
|
|
50 Questo è il mio conforto nella mia afflizione; che la tua parola mi vivifica.
|
50 My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
|
|
51 I superbi mi cuopron di scherno, ma io non devìo dalla tua legge.

51 The arrogant mock me without restraint, but I do not turn from your law.
|
|
52 Io mi ricordo de’ tuoi giudizi antichi, o Eterno, e mi consolo.

52 I remember your ancient laws, O LORD, and I find comfort in them.

53 Un’ira ardente mi prende a motivo degli empi, che abbandonano la tua legge.

53 Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law.
|
|
54 I tuoi statuti sono i miei cantici, nella casa del mio pellegrinaggio.
|
54 Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge.
|
|
55 Io mi ricordo la notte del tuo nome, o Eterno, e osservo la tua legge.
|
55 In the night I remember your name, O LORD, and I will keep your law.
|
|
56 Questo bene mi è toccato, di osservare i tuoi precetti.
|
56 This has been my practice: I obey your precepts.
|
|
57 L’Eterno è la mia parte; ho promesso d’osservare le tue parole.
|
57 You are my portion, O LORD; I have promised to obey your words.
|

58 Io ho cercato il tuo favore con tutto il cuore: abbi pietà di me, secondo la tua parola.

58 I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.

59 Io ho riflettuto alle mie vie e ho rivolto i miei passi verso le tue testimonianze.

59 I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.
|

60 Mi sono affrettato, e non ho indugiato ad osservare i tuoi comandamenti.

60 I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.
|

61 I lacci degli empi m’hanno avviluppato, ma io non ho dimenticato la tua legge.

61 Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law.

62 A mezzanotte io mi levo per celebrarti a motivo dei tuoi giusti giudizi.

62 At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.

63 Io sono il compagno di tutti quelli che ti temono e di quelli che osservano i tuoi precetti.

63 I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts.

64 O Eterno, la terra è piena della tua benignità; insegnami i tuoi statuti.

64 The earth is filled with your love, O LORD; teach me your decrees.

67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.

68 Tu sei buono e fai del bene; insegnami i tuoi statuti.

68 You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.

69 I superbi hanno ordito menzogne contro a me, ma io osservo i tuoi precetti con tutto il cuore.

69 Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep your precepts with all my heart.
|
|
70 Il loro cuore è denso come grasso, ma io mi diletto nella tua legge.

70 Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law.
|
|
71 E’ stato un bene per me l’essere afflitto, ond’io imparassi i tuoi statuti.

71 It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.
|
|
72 La legge della tua bocca mi val meglio di migliaia di monete d’oro e d’argento.
|
72 The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.
|
|
73 Le tue mani m’hanno fatto e formato; dammi intelletto e imparerò i tuoi comandamenti.
|
73 Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands.
|
|
74 Quelli che ti temono mi vedranno e si rallegreranno, perché ho sperato nella tua parola.
|
74 May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word.
|
|
75 Io so, o Eterno, che i tuoi giudizi son giusti, e che nella tua fedeltà m’hai afflitto.
|
75 I know, O LORD, that your laws are righteous, and in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
|
|
76 Deh, sia la tua benignità il mio conforto, secondo la tua parola detta al tuo servitore.

76 May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
|
|
77 Vengan su me le tue compassioni, ond’io viva; perché la tua legge è il mio diletto.

77 Let your compassion come to me that I may live, for your law is my delight.
|
|
78 Sian contusi i superbi, perché, mentendo, pervertono la mia causa; ma io medito i tuoi precetti.

78 May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts.
|
|
79 Rivolgansi a me quelli che ti temono e quelli che conoscono le tue testimonianze.

79 May those who fear you turn to me, those who understand your statutes.
|
|
80 Sia il mio cuore integro nei tuoi statuti ond’io non sia confuso.

80 May my heart be blameless toward your decrees, that I may not be put to shame.

81 L’anima mia vien meno bramando la tua salvezza; io spero nella tua parola.

81 My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word.

82 Gli occhi miei vengon meno bramando la tua parola, mentre dico: Quando mi consolerai?

82 My eyes fail, looking for your promise; I say, "When will you comfort me?"
|
|
83 Poiché io son divenuto come un otre al fumo; ma non dimentico i tuoi statuti.

83 Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget your decrees.
|
|
84 Quanti sono i giorni del tuo servitore? Quando farai giustizia di quelli che mi perseguitano?

84 How long must your servant wait? When will you punish my persecutors?
|
|
85 I superbi mi hanno scavato delle fosse; essi, che non agiscono secondo la tua legge.

85 The arrogant dig pitfalls for me, contrary to your law.
|
|
86 Tutti i tuoi comandamenti sono fedeltà; costoro mi perseguitano a torto; soccorrimi!

86 All your commands are trustworthy; help me, for men persecute me without cause.
|
|
87 Mi hanno fatto quasi sparire dalla terra; ma io non ho abbandonato i tuoi precetti.
|
87 They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.
|
|
88 Vivificami secondo la tua benignità, ed io osserverò la testimonianza della tua bocca.

88 Preserve my life according to your love, and I will obey the statutes of your mouth.
|
|
89 In perpetuo, o Eterno, la tua parola è stabile nei cieli.

89 Your word, O LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.
|
|
90 La tua fedeltà dura d’età in età; tu hai fondato la terra ed essa sussiste.

90 Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.
|
|
91 Tutto sussiste anche oggi secondo i tuoi ordini, perché ogni cosa è al tuo servigio.

91 Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you.
|
|
92 Se la tua legge non fosse stata il mio diletto, sarei già perito nella mia afflizione.

92 If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
|
|
93 Io non dimenticherò mai i tuoi precetti, perché per essi tu mi hai vivificato.

93 I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.

96 To all perfection I see a limit; but your commands are boundless.

118 You reject all who stray from your decrees, for their deceitfulness is in vain.

119 Tu togli via come schiuma tutti gli empi dalla terra; perciò amo le tue testimonianze.

119 All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross; therefore I love your statutes.

120 La mia carne rabbrividisce per lo spavento di te, e io temo i tuoi giudizi.

120 My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws.

121 Io ho fatto ciò che è diritto e giusto; non abbandonarmi ai miei oppressori.

121 I have done what is righteous and just; do not leave me to my oppressors.

123 My eyes fail, looking for your salvation, looking for your righteous promise.

124 Deal with your servant according to your love and teach me your decrees.

125 I am your servant; give me discernment that I may understand your statutes.

126 E’ tempo che l’Eterno operi; essi hanno annullato la tua legge.

127 Perciò io amo i tuoi comandamenti più dell’oro, più dell’oro finissimo.

127 Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold,

128 Perciò ritengo diritti tutti i tuoi precetti, e odio ogni sentiero di menzogna.

128 and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path.

129 Le tue testimonianze sono maravigliose; perciò l’anima mia le osserva.

129 Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them.

130 La dichiarazione delle tue parole illumina; dà intelletto ai semplici.

130 The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

131 Io ho aperto la bocca e ho sospirato perché ho bramato i tuoi comandamenti.

131 I open my mouth and pant, longing for your commands.

140 La tua parola è pura d’ogni scoria; perciò il tuo servitore l’ama.

140 Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.

141 Io son piccolo e sprezzato, ma non dimentico i tuoi precetti.

141 Though I am lowly and despised, I do not forget your precepts.

142 La tua giustizia è una giustizia eterna, e la tua legge è verità.

142 Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true.

149 Hear my voice in accordance with your love; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your laws.

150 Those who devise wicked schemes are near, but they are far from your law.

152 Da lungo tempo so dalle tue testimonianze che tu le hai stabilite in eterno.

152 Long ago I learned from your statutes that you established them to last forever.

153 Considera la mia afflizione, e liberami; perché non ho dimenticato la tua legge.

153 Look upon my suffering and deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law.

154 Difendi tu la mia causa e riscattami; vivificami secondo la tua parola.

154 Defend my cause and redeem me; preserve my life according to your promise.

155 La salvezza è lungi dagli empi, perché non cercano i tuoi statuti.

155 Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek out your decrees.

157 I miei persecutori e i miei avversari son molti, ma io non devìo dalle tue testimonianze.

157 Many are the foes who persecute me, but I have not turned from your statutes.

158 I look on the faithless with loathing, for they do not obey your word.
