1 I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.

2 Bet En el SEÑOR se gloriará mi alma; lo oirán los mansos, y se alegrarán.
|
2 My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

3 Guímel Engrandeced al SEÑOR conmigo, y ensalcemos su Nombre a una.

3 Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
|
|
4 Dálet Busqué al SEÑOR, y él me oyó; y me libró de todos mis temores.
|
4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
|
|
5 He ¡A él miraron y fueron alumbrados! Y sus rostros no se avergonzaron.
|
5 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
|
|
6 Vau Este pobre llamó, y le oyó el SEÑOR, y lo libró de todas sus angustias.

6 This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
|
|
7 Zain El ángel del SEÑOR acampa en derredor de los que le temen, y los defiende.
|
7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
|
|
8 Chet Gustad, y ved que es bueno el SEÑOR; dichoso el hombre que confiará en él.
|
8 Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
|
|
9 Tet Temed al SEÑOR, vosotros sus santos; porque no hay falta para los que le temen.
|
9 Fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing.
|
|
10 Yod Los leoncillos necesitaron, y tuvieron hambre; pero los que buscan al SEÑOR, no tendrán falta de ningún bien.

10 The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
|

11 Caf Venid, hijos, oídme; el temor del SEÑOR os enseñaré.

11 Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 Lámed ¿Quién es el hombre que desea vida, que codicia días para ver el bien?

12 Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,
|
|
13 Mem Guarda tu lengua de mal, y tus labios de hablar engaño.
|
13 keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies.
|
|
14 Nun Apártate del mal, y haz el bien; busca la paz, y síguela.
|
14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
|
|
15 Sámec Los ojos del SEÑOR están sobre los justos, y atentos sus oídos al clamor de ellos.

15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry;
|
|
16 Ayin La ira del SEÑOR contra los que mal hacen, para cortar de la tierra la memoria de ellos.
|
16 the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
|
|
17 Pe Clamaron los justos , y el SEÑOR oyó, y los libró de todas sus angustias.
|
17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
|
|
18 Tsade Cercano está el SEÑOR a los quebrantados de corazón; y a los molidos de espíritu salvará.
|
18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
|
|
19 Cof Muchos son los males del justo; mas de todos ellos lo librará el SEÑOR;
|
19 A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;
|
|
20 Resh guardando todos sus huesos; ni uno de ellos será quebrantado.
|
20 he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.
|
|
21 Sin Matará al malo la maldad; y los que aborrecen al justo serán asolados.
|
21 Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned.
|
|
22 Tau El SEÑOR redime el alma de sus siervos; y no serán asolados cuantos en él confían.
|
22 The LORD redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
