1 Si habéis pues resucitado con Cristo, buscad las cosas de arriba, donde está el Cristo sentado a la diestra de Dios.

2 Poned la mira en las cosas de arriba, no en las de la tierra.

3 Porque muertos sois, y vuestra vida está escondida con el Cristo en Dios.

4 Cuando se manifestare el Cristo, nuestra vida, entonces vosotros también seréis manifestados con él en gloria.

5 Mortificad, pues, vuestros miembros que están sobre la tierra: fornicación, inmundicia, deleite <I>carnal</I> , mala concupiscencia, y avaricia, la cual es servicio de ídolos;

6 por estas cosas la ira de Dios viene sobre los hijos de rebelión.

New International Version NIV

1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
