15 perché il cuore di questo popolo s’è fatto insensibile, son divenuti duri d’orecchi ed hanno chiuso gli occhi, che talora non veggano con gli occhi e non odano con gli orecchi e non intendano col cuore e non si convertano, ed io non li guarisca.

For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’
