1
In the LORD I take refuge.1 How then can you say to me: "Flee2 like a bird to your mountain.32
For look, the wicked bend their bows;4 they set their arrows5 against the strings to shoot from the shadows6 at the upright in heart.73
When the foundations8 are being destroyed, what can the righteous doa ?"
4
The LORD is in his holy temple;9 the LORD is on his heavenly throne.10 He observes the sons of men;11 his eyes examine12 them.
5
The LORD examines the righteous,13 but the wickedb and those who love violence his soul hates.146
On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur;15 a scorching wind16 will be their lot.
7
For the LORD is righteous,17 he loves justice;18 upright men19 will see his face.20
