View In My Bible

For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm of David."

1 Answer me1 when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress;2 have mercy3 on me and hear my prayer.4 2 How long will you men turn my glory5 into shame?6 How long will you love delusions and seek false godsa ?b7 3 Know that the LORD has set apart his faithful servant8 for himself; the LORD hears9 when I call to him. 4 Tremble andc do not sin;10 when you are on your beds,11 search your hearts and be silent. 5 Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the LORD.12 6 Many, LORD, are asking, "Who will bring us prosperity?" Let the light of your face shine on us.13 7 Fill my heart14 with joy15 when their grain and new wine16 abound. 8 In peace17 I will lie down and sleep,18 for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.19
