Seeing the Word of God Come to Life, Even in Painful Situations

Very often when I am writing I try to be honest and share words of truth that can help you live out your Christian life on an everyday basis. In short, I know God has called me to be an encourager to the body of Christ. The truth is that those who encourage also need encouragement.

When we finished praying, the thing that I noticed in my heart was the anxiety was lifted. Funny enough, the situation had not changed – we still have some challenges to face. The difference is that there is now the peace of God to know that he will bring us through them. This was God’s word in action. It was his presence coupled with us pouring our hearts out in prayer that brought his peace.

Since that moment I have returned to myself. I have my game face on and more importantly my hope and confidence is back in the God who has said he will never leave me or forsake me. This verse happens to be one of my favorite verses in the Amplified Bible, and I have mentioned this before in another writing but these words are just so encouraging to me and I hope they will be to you as well:

Can I tell you today that no matter what situation you are going through, God is true to his word. Everything he has ever said in his word he will do. He will never leave you under any circumstances. He will never give up on you. He will never leave you without support. He will not leave you helpless. He will not relax his hold on you nor will he ever let you down. He really does love and care about you that much.

As I think about this and am writing this, my heart is filling with tears and with worship because I am remembering how faithful God is. I encourage you today that in the midst of your challenge or struggle, in the midst of your painful situation that leaves you up all night wondering how you are going to make it through, lease remember there is a God who is faithful to you and will never let you go. I can say this confidently, that God has established a pattern of faithfulness in my life and I know if you check in your life you will see it too. You can depend on his faithfulness.

Wherever you are today, please follow the words of Paul in Philippians. Give all your anxiety and worry to God in prayer. He wants to carry it for you. You don’t have to carry it alone. He has an abundant supply of peace ready to pour into your heart in the middle of your situation. Please trust him because he can be trusted and more importantly, he is ready and willing to help you in your time of need.

I pray this has encouraged you, and if it has, can you please reach out to me and let me know? I want to rejoice with you and hear your stories of God’s faithfulness through all of your life situations. He has been faithful and will continue to be.

One last thing: I have included a link to one of my favorite songs of all time and I pray this will be a blessing to your life in this moment.
