38 Sa煤l visti贸 a David con sus ropas militares, le puso un yelmo de bronce en la cabeza y lo cubri贸 con una armadura.

1 Samuel 17:38

And Saul armed David with his armour
Not with what he wore himself; for it cannot be thought he would strip himself of his armour in the field of battle, and when just going to it; and besides what suited the one would not be fit for the other, their bulk and stature being different i but this was some armour Saul had brought with him, besides what he himself wore, to furnish any with that might want it:

and he put an helmet of brass upon his head;
such an one, though not so large as Goliath had, these being usually made of brass; (See Gill on 1 Samuel 17:5);

also he armed him with a coat of mail;
which probably was of brass also, and like that of Goliath's too, only lesser, ( 1 Samuel 17:5 ) .

36 Tu siervo ha matado tanto al le贸n como al oso; y este filisteo incircunciso ser谩 como uno de ellos, porque ha desafiado a los escuadrones del Dios viviente.
37 Y David a帽adi贸: El SE脩OR, que me ha librado de las garras del le贸n y de las garras del oso, me librar谩 de la mano de este filisteo. Y Sa煤l dijo a David: Ve, y que el SE脩OR sea contigo.
38 Sa煤l visti贸 a David con sus ropas militares, le puso un yelmo de bronce en la cabeza y lo cubri贸 con una armadura.
39 David se ci帽贸 la espada sobre sus ropas militares y trat贸 de caminar, pues no se las hab铆a probado antes. Entonces David dijo a Sa煤l: No puedo caminar con esto, pues no tengo experiencia con ellas. David se las quit贸,
40 y tomando su cayado en la mano, escogi贸 del arroyo cinco piedras lisas y las puso en el saco de pastor que tra铆a, en el zurr贸n, y con la honda en la mano se acerc贸 al filisteo.
