3 Y aconteció que al cabo de los siete años, la mujer volvió de la tierra de los filisteos; y salió a implorar al rey por su casa y por su campo.

2 Kings 8:3

And it came to pass, at the seven years end, that the woman
returned out of the land of the Philistines
Either hearing that the famine was over, or believing that it was, the time being expired the prophet fixed for it:

and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house, and for her
land;
which her nearest relations in her absence had seized upon, as heirs to them; or those in whose hands she had intrusted them refused, upon her return, to deliver them to her; or the king's officers had seized upon them for him, as forfeited to the crown by her going out of the land without leave; and now she needed a friend to speak for her to the king, which, in time past, she had no occasion for, and thought she never should, see ( 2 Kings 4:13 ) .

1 Y Eliseo habló a la mujer, a cuyo hijo él había devuelto la vida, diciendo: Levántate y vete, tú y tu casa, y reside donde puedas residir, porque el SEÑOR ha llamado al hambre que vendrá sobre la tierra por siete años.

2 Entonces la mujer se levantó e hizo conforme a la palabra del hombre de Dios, y se fue ella con los de su casa y residió en la tierra de los filisteos siete años.

3 Y aconteció que al cabo de los siete años, la mujer volvió de la tierra de los filisteos; y salió a implorar al rey por su casa y por su campo.

4 Y el rey estaba hablando con Giezi, criado del hombre de Dios, diciéndole: Te ruego que me cuentes todas las grandes cosas que ha hecho Eliseo.

5 Y sucedió que mientras él contaba al rey cómo había devuelto la vida a un muerto, he aquí, la mujer a cuyo hijo había devuelto la vida, imploró al rey por su casa y por su campo. Y Giezi dijo: Oh rey señor mío, ésta es la mujer y éste es su hijo, al que Eliseo devolvió la vida.
