O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy
hot displeasure
This and the following clause are the same as in ( Psalms 6:1 ) , only instead of wrath there it is anger; (See Gill on Psalms 6:1).

1 SEÑOR, no me reprendas en tu enojo, ni me castigues en tu furor.
2 Porque tus saetas se han clavado en mí, y sobre mí ha descendido tu mano.
3 Nada hay sano en mi carne a causa de tu indignación; en mis huesos no hay salud a causa de mi pecado.
4 Porque mis iniquidades han sobrepasado mi cabeza; como pesada carga, pesan mucho para mí.
5 Mis llagas hieden y supuran. A causa de mi necedad,
