In between each week, invite the congregation into the practice of one of the disciplines found in the handbook under the current letter for WORSHIP. Encourage small groups and Sunday school classes to discuss people’s experiences with the practice, using the reflection questions found in the handbook.
Follow the suggestions for small groups found in the “Using the Spiritual Disciplines Handbook with Small Groups,” appendix 4.
Each year set aside eight weeks on worship, introducing a new discipline each time.
