Mark 16:16-20

16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

18 they will pick up snakes; ^[a] if they should drink anything deadly, it will never harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well."

The Ascension

19 Then after speaking to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the accompanying signs.]^[b]
