20 又 要 將 律 例 和 法 度 教 訓 他 們 ， 指 示 他 們 當 行 的 道 ， 當 做 的 事 ；

Exodus 18:20

And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws
Both with respect to things civil and religious, which he should receive from God:

and shalt show them the way wherein they must walk;
the path of faith and duty, the way of truth, holiness, and righteousness:

and the work that they must do;
both with respect to God, and one another, the various duties and exercises of religion, everything relating to their moral, religious, and civil conduct.

18 你 和 這 些 百 姓 必 都 疲 憊 ； 因 為 這 事 太 重 ， 你 獨 自 一 人 辦 理 不 了 。

19 現 在 你 要 聽 我 的 話 。 我 為 你 出 個 主 意 ， 願 　 神 與 你 同 在 。 你 要 替 百 姓 到 神 面 前 ， 將 案 件 奏 告 　 神 ；

20 又 要 將 律 例 和 法 度 教 訓 他 們 ， 指 示 他 們 當 行 的 道 ， 當 做 的 事 ；

21 並 要 從 百 姓 中 揀 選 有 才 能 的 人 ， 就 是 敬 畏 　 神 、 誠 實 無 妄 、 恨 不 義 之 財 的 人 ， 派 他 們 作 千 夫 長 、 百 夫 長 、 五 十 夫 長 、 十 夫 長 ， 管 理 百 姓 ，

22 叫 他 們 隨 時 審 判 百 姓 ， 大 事 都 要 呈 到 你 這 裡 ， 小 事 他 們 自 己 可 以 審 判 。 這 樣 ， 你 就 輕 省 些 ， 他 們 也 可 以 同 當 此 任 。
