Genesis 25:24

And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled
The nine months were up from the time of her conception; or, as the Targum of Jonathan, when the two hundred and seventy days she went with child were completed: behold, [there were] twins in her womb;
as was perceived by the midwife; a double mercy was granted, more given than asked for; probably only one child was asked for, but two given.

22 孩 子 們 在 他 腹 中 彼 此 相 爭 ， 他 就 說 ： 若 是 這 樣 ， 我 為 甚 麼 活 著 呢 ( 或 作 我 為 甚 麼 如 此 呢 ) ？ 他 就 去 求 問 耶 和 華 。

23 耶 和 華 對 他 說 ： 兩 國 在 你 腹 內 ； 兩 族 要 從 你 身 上 出 來 。 這 族 必 強 於 那 族 ； 將 來 大 的 要 服 事 小 的 。

24 生 產 的 日 子 到 了 ， 腹 中 果 然 是 雙 子 。

25 先 產 的 身 體 發 紅 ， 渾 身 有 毛 ， 如 同 皮 衣 ， 他 們 就 給 他 起 名 叫 以 掃 ( 就 是 有 毛 的 意 思 ) 。

26 隨 後 又 生 了 以 掃 的 兄 弟 ， 手 抓 住 以 掃 的 腳 跟 ， 因 此 給 他 起 名 叫 雅 各 ( 就 是 抓 住 的 意 思 ) 。 利 百 加 生 下 兩 個 兒 子 的 時 候 ， 以 撒 年 正 六 十 歲 。
