25 他 們 就 預 備 那 禮 物 ， 等 候 約 瑟 晌 午 來 ， 因 為 他 們 聽 見 要 在 那 裡 吃 飯 。

Genesis 43:25

And they made ready the present against Joseph came at noon,
&c.] They took it out of their vessels or bags in which they brought it, having unladen their asses, and disposed of it in a proper manner to present it to him when he came home at noon to dine: for they heard that they should eat bread there;
dine there, bread being put for all provision: this was told them, very probably, by the steward, or by some of the servants in the house, or they overheard what Joseph said to the steward, ( Genesis 43:16 ) .

23 家 宰 說 ： 『 你 們 可 以 放 心 ， 不 要 害 怕 ， 是 你 們 的 　 神 和 你 們 父 親 的 　 神 賜 給 你 們 財 寶 在 你 們 的 口 袋 裡 ； 你 們 的 銀 子 ， 我 早 已 收 了 。 』 他 就 把 西 緬 帶 出 來 ， 交 給 他 們 。

24 家 宰 就 領 他 們 進 約 瑟 的 屋 裡 ， 給 他 們 水 洗 腳 ， 又 給 他 們 草 料 餵 驢 。

25 他 們 就 預 備 那 禮 物 ， 等 候 約 瑟 晌 午 來 ， 因 為 他 們 聽 見 要 在 那 裡 吃 飯 。

26 約 瑟 來 到 家 裡 ， 他 們 就 把 手 中 的 禮 物 拿 進 屋 去 給 他 ， 又 俯 伏 在 地 ， 向 他 下 拜 。

27 約 瑟 問 他 們 好 ， 又 問 ： 『 你 們 的 父 親 ─ 就 是 你 們 所 說 的 那 老 人 家 平 安 嗎 ？ 他 還 在 嗎 ？ 』
