1 Kings 14:27

And King Rehoboam made in their stead brazen shields
For the king of Egypt had so stripped him of his gold, that he was not able to replace golden ones:

and committed them into the hands of the chief of the guard;
or "runners" ^F16, that went before the king, or attended him as his bodyguard when he went abroad:

which kept the door of the king's house;
which kept guard night and day in their turns.

25 羅 波 安 王 第 五 年 ， 埃 及 王 示 撒 上 來 攻 取 耶 路 撒 冷 ，

26 奪 了 耶 和 華 殿 和 王 宮 裡 的 寶 物 ， 盡 都 帶 走 ， 又 奪 去 所 羅 門 製 造 的 金 盾 牌 。

27 羅 波 安 王 製 造 銅 盾 牌 代 替 那 金 盾 牌 ， 交 給 守 王 宮 門 的 護 衛 長 看 守 。

28 王 每 逢 進 耶 和 華 的 殿 ， 護 衛 兵 就 拿 這 盾 牌 ， 隨 後 仍 將 盾 牌 送 回 ， 放 在 護 衛 房 。

29 羅 波 安 其 餘 的 事 ， 凡 他 所 行 的 ， 都 寫 在 猶 大 列 王 記 上 。
