8 於 是 託 亞 哈 的 名 寫 信 ， 用 王 的 印 印 上 ， 送 給 那 些 與 拿 伯 同 城 居 住 的 長 老 貴 冑 。

1 Kings 21:8

So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his
seal
He giving her leave, no doubt, to take his seal; though she might not communicate her scheme to him, lest he should object to it:

and sent the letters unto the elders, and to the nobles that were in
his city dwelling with Naboth:
to the chief magistrates of the city of Jezreel, where Naboth dwelt.

6 他 回 答 說 ： 因 我 向 耶 斯 列 人 拿 伯 說 ： 你 將 你 的 葡 萄 園 給 我 ， 我 給 你 價 銀 ， 或 是 你 願 意 ， 我 就 把 別 的 葡 萄 園 換 給 你 ； 他 卻 說 ： 我 不 將 我 的 葡 萄 園 給 你 。

7 王 后 耶 洗 別 對 亞 哈 說 ： 你 現 在 是 治 理 以 色 列 國 不 是 ？ 只 管 起 來 ， 心 裡 暢 暢 快 快 地 吃 飯 ， 我 必 將 耶 斯 列 人 拿 伯 的 葡 萄 園 給 你 。

9 信 上 寫 著 說 ： 你 們 當 宣 告 禁 食 ， 叫 拿 伯 坐 在 民 間 的 高 位 上 ，

10 又 叫 兩 個 匪 徒 坐 在 拿 伯 對 面 ， 作 見 證 告 他 說 ： 你 謗 瀆 　 神 和 王 了 ； 隨 後 就 把 他 拉 出 去 用 石 頭 打 死 。
