20 現 在 耶 和 華 成 就 了 他 所 應 許 的 話 ， 使 我 接 續 我 父 大 衛 坐 以 色 列 的 國 位 ， 又 為 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 　 神 的 名 建 造 了 殿 。

1 Kings 8:20

And the Lord hath performed his word that he spake
To David, concerning his son's building the temple:

and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne
of Israel, as the Lord promised;
succeeded him in the kingdom:

and have built an house for the name of the Lord God of Israel;
the temple he had now finished; and thus the promise to David was punctually fulfilled, that he should have a son that should succeed him in the throne, and build the house of the Lord.

18 耶 和 華 卻 對 我 父 大 衛 說 ： 你 立 意 為 我 的 名 建 殿 ， 這 意 思 甚 好 。

19 只 是 你 不 可 建 殿 ， 惟 你 所 生 的 兒 子 必 為 我 名 建 殿 。

20 現 在 耶 和 華 成 就 了 他 所 應 許 的 話 ， 使 我 接 續 我 父 大 衛 坐 以 色 列 的 國 位 ， 又 為 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 　 神 的 名 建 造 了 殿 。

21 我 也 在 其 中 為 約 櫃 預 備 一 處 。 約 櫃 內 有 耶 和 華 的 約 ， 就 是 他 領 我 們 列 祖 出 埃 及 地 的 時 候 ， 與 他 們 所 立 的 約 。

22 所 羅 門 當 著 以 色 列 會 眾 ， 站 在 耶 和 華 的 壇 前 ， 向 天 舉 手 說 ：
