2 Samuel 5:7

Nevertheless, David took the strong hold of Zion
A fortress without the city, and separate from it, and which was very strong; and the taking it might facilitate the taking of the city, which yet as appears by what follows, was very difficult to do:

the same [is] the city of David;
it was afterwards so called, where he built an house, and dwelt.

5 在 希 伯 崙 作 猶 大 王 七 年 零 六 個 月 ， 在 耶 路 撒 冷 作 以 色 列 和 猶 大 王 三 十 三 年 。

6 大 衛 和 跟 隨 他 的 人 到 了 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 要 攻 打 住 那 地 方 的 耶 布 斯 人 。 耶 布 斯 人 對 大 衛 說 ： 你 若 不 趕 出 瞎 子 、 瘸 子 ， 必 不 能 進 這 地 方 ； 心 裡 想 大 衛 決 不 能 進 去 。

7 然 而 大 衛 攻 取 錫 安 的 保 障 ， 就 是 大 衛 的 城 。

8 當 日 ， 大 衛 說 ： 誰 攻 打 耶 布 斯 人 ， 當 上 水 溝 攻 打 我 心 裡 所 恨 惡 的 瘸 子 、 瞎 子 。 從 此 有 俗 語 說 ： 在 那 裡 有 瞎 子 、 瘸 子 ， 他 不 能 進 屋 去 。

9 大 衛 住 在 保 障 裡 ， 給 保 障 起 名 叫 大 衛 城 。 大 衛 又 從 米 羅 以 裡 ， 周 圍 築 牆 。
