Deuteronomy 4:30

When thou art in tribulation
In a strange land, in the power of a foreign enemy, and used ill:

and all these things are come upon thee;
captivity, thraldom, hard labour, and want of the necessaries of life:

[even] in the latter days:
in their present captivity for the rejection of the Messiah:

if thou turn to the Lord thy God;
as the Jews will when they are converted and brought to a sense of their sin, and of their need of Christ, and seek to him as their Saviour, as they will do in the latter day, ( Hosea 3:5 ) ( 2 Corinthians 3:16 )

and shall be obedient unto his voice;
not of the law only, but of the Gospel also, proclaiming peace, pardon, righteousness, and salvation by him whom they have pierced.

28 在 那 裡 ， 你 們 必 事 奉 人 手 所 造 的 　 神 ， 就 是 用 木 石 造 成 、 不 能 看 、 不 能 聽 、 不 能 吃 、 不 能 聞 的 　 神 。

29 但 你 們 在 那 裡 必 尋 求 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 　 神 。 你 盡 心 盡 性 尋 求 他 的 時 候 ， 就 必 尋 見 。

30 日 後 你 遭 遇 一 切 患 難 的 時 候 ， 你 必 歸 回 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 　 神 ， 聽 從 他 的 話 。

31 耶 和 華 ─ 你 　 神 原 是 有 憐 憫 的 　 神 ； 他 總 不 撇 下 你 ， 不 滅 絕 你 ， 也 不 忘 記 他 起 誓 與 你 列 祖 所 立 的 約 。

32 你 且 考 察 在 你 以 前 的 世 代 ， 自 　 神 造 人 在 世 以 來 ， 從 天 這 邊 到 天 那 邊 ， 曾 有 何 民 聽 見 　 神 在 火 中 說 話 的 聲 音 ， 像 你 聽 見 還 能 存 活 呢 ？
