53 有 一 個 婦 人 把 一 塊 上 磨 石 拋 在 亞 比 米 勒 的 頭 上 ， 打 破 了 他 的 腦 骨 。

Judges 9:53

And a certain woman cast a piece of a millstone
Of the upper millstone, as the word signifies, which is observed by Jarchi and other Jewish commentators; this with other stones being carried up to the top of the tower, to do what execution they could with them: and a woman observing Abimelech making up to the door of the tower, took up this piece of millstone, and threw it down

upon Abimelech's head, and all to break his skull;
she did it with that view, though it may as well be rendered, or "she", or "it broke his skull" ^F18; it made a fracture in it, which was mortal. Abendana observes, and so others, that that was measure for measure, a righteous retaliation, that as he had slain seventy of his brethren on one stone, he should die by means of a stone.

52 亞 比 米 勒 到 了 樓 前 攻 打 ， 挨 近 樓 門 ， 要 用 火 焚 燒 。

53 有 一 個 婦 人 把 一 塊 上 磨 石 拋 在 亞 比 米 勒 的 頭 上 ， 打 破 了 他 的 腦 骨 。

54 他 就 急 忙 喊 叫 拿 他 兵 器 的 少 年 人 ， 對 他 說 ： 拔 出 你 的 刀 來 ， 殺 了 我 罷 ！ 免 得 人 議 論 我 說 ， 他 為 一 個 婦 人 所 殺 。 於 是 少 年 人 把 他 刺 透 ， 他 就 死 了 。

55 以 色 列 人 見 亞 比 米 勒 死 了 ， 便 各 回 自 己 的 地 方 去 了 。
