15 惟 有 我 曾 說 過 ， 我 又 選 召 他 ， 領 他 來 ， 他 的 道 路 就 必 亨 通 。

Isaiah 48:15

I, even I, have spoken
What I will do, and what shall certainly come to pass; for not one word of the Lord ever fails; what he has spoken he will make good; what he has said to his Son in his council, and in covenant, or has delivered out by promise or prophecy, ( Numbers 23:19 ) : yea, I have called him;
not Abraham, as the Targum; but Cyrus, whom he called by name, as well as called him to his work and office as a deliverer of his people, ( Isaiah 45:4 ) and so he called Christ also to his work and office, which he did not take to himself, but was called of God, ( Hebrews 5:4 Hebrews 5:5 ) : I have brought him; from a far country, from Persia to Babylon; and who has also brought forth his servant, the branch, the Messiah, ( Zechariah 3:8 ) : and he shall make his way prosperous;
or "his way shall be prosperous" {m}; being made so by the Lord, who directed his way, and removed all difficulties and obstructions in it, ( Isaiah 45:1-3 Isaiah 45:5 Isaiah 45:13 ) and so the pleasure of the Lord has prospered in the hands of Christ, who has succeeded in the work of redemption and salvation he was called to, ( Isaiah 53:11 ) , these are the words of God the Father, confirming what the Messiah said in the preceding, and who is introduced speaking in the next verse.

13 我 手 立 了 地 的 根 基 ； 我 右 手 鋪 張 諸 天 ； 我 一 招 呼 便 都 立 住 。

14 你 們 都 當 聚 集 而 聽 ， 他 們 （ 或 譯 ： 偶 像 ） 內 中 誰 說 過 這 些 事 ？ 耶 和 華 所 愛 的 人 必 向 巴 比 倫 行 他 所 喜 悅 的 事 ； 他 的 膀 臂 也 要 加 在 迦 勒 底 人 身 上 。

16 你 們 要 就 近 我 來 聽 這 話 ： 我 從 起 頭 並 未 曾 在 隱 密 處 說 話 ； 自 從 有 這 事 ， 我 就 在 那 裡 。 現 在 ， 主 耶 和 華 差 遣 我 和 他 的 靈 來 （ 或 譯 ： 耶 和 華 和 他 的 靈 差 遣 我 來 ） 。

17 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 救 贖 主 ， 以 色 列 的 聖 者 如 此 說 ： 我 是 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 　 神 ， 教 訓 你 ， 使 你 得 益 處 ， 引 導 你 所 當 行 的 路 。
