11 耶 和 華 以 大 能 的 手 ， 指 教 我 不 可 行 這 百 姓 所 行 的 道 ， 對 我 這 樣 說 ：

Isaiah 8:11

For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand
In the strength of prophecy, as the Targum explains it; and so all the Jews' interpreters understand it of prophecy, as in ( Ezekiel 1:3 ) ( 3:14 ) : or, "the Lord spake thus to me, when he took (me) by the hand" ^F20; as parents or masters take hold of the hands of children, while they are advising and instructing them, as expressive of their great affection for them; and when they would retain them with them, or restrain them from doing amiss: and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people:
or join with them in desiring and seeking for the help of the king of Assyria, against Rezin and Remaliah's son; or in being willing to surrender up into their hands: saying;

9 列 國 的 人 民 哪 ， 任 憑 你 們 喧 嚷 ， 終 必 破 壞 ； 遠 方 的 眾 人 哪 ， 當 側 耳 而 聽 ！ 任 憑 你 們 束 起 腰 來 ， 終 必 破 壞 ； 你 們 束 起 腰 來 ， 終 必 破 壞 。

10 任 憑 你 們 同 謀 ， 終 歸 無 有 ； 任 憑 你 們 言 定 ， 終 不 成 立 ； 因 為 神 與 我 們 同 在 。

11 耶 和 華 以 大 能 的 手 ， 指 教 我 不 可 行 這 百 姓 所 行 的 道 ， 對 我 這 樣 說 ：

12 這 百 姓 說 同 謀 背 叛 ， 你 們 不 要 說 同 謀 背 叛 。 他 們 所 怕 的 ， 你 們 不 要 怕 ， 也 不 要 畏 懼 。

13 但 要 尊 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 為 聖 ， 以 他 為 你 們 所 當 怕 的 ， 所 當 畏 懼 的 。
