8 他 對 我 說 ： 人 子 啊 ， 你 要 挖 牆 。 我 一 挖 牆 ， 見 有 一 門 。

Ezekiel 8:8

Then said he unto me, son of man, dig now in the wall
And so make the hole larger; that he might have a fuller view of what was to be seen within the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door;
an opening, by which he could go into the cell or chamber, and take a full view of what was to be seen there. All this was visionary, for in reality the prophet did not dig, nor could he, not having anything to dig with; but so things appeared to his mind in the vision: first a little hole, by which he could discern there was a room; then, by making use of some means, a large door appeared, at which there was an entrance into it.

6 又 對 我 說 ： 人 子 啊 ， 以 色 列 家 所 行 的 ， 就 是 在 此 行 這 大 可 憎 的 事 ， 使 我 遠 離 我 的 聖 所 ， 你 看 見 了 麼 ？ 你 還 要 看 見 另 有 大 可 憎 的 事 。

7 他 領 我 到 院 門 口 。 我 觀 看 ， 見 牆 上 有 個 窟 窿 。

8 他 對 我 說 ： 人 子 啊 ， 你 要 挖 牆 。 我 一 挖 牆 ， 見 有 一 門 。

9 他 說 ： 你 進 去 ， 看 他 們 在 這 裡 所 行 可 憎 的 惡 事 。

10 我 進 去 一 看 ， 誰 知 ， 在 四 面 牆 上 畫 著 各 樣 爬 物 和 可 憎 的 走 獸 ， 並 以 色 列 家 一 切 的 偶 像 。
