3 你 們 要 將 這 事 傳 與 子 ， 子 傳 與 孫 ， 孫 ， 傳 與 後 代 。

Joel 1:3

Tell ye your children of it
Give them a particular account of it; describe the creatures and their number as near as you can; say when they begun and how long they continued, and what devastations they made, and what was the cause and reason of such a judgment, your sins and transgressions: and [let] your children [tell] their children, and their children other
generation;
or, "to the generation following" ^F12; let it be handed down from one generation to another that it may be a caution to future posterity how they behave and lest they bring down the like awful judgments on them. What this referred to was as follows:

4 剪 蟲 剩 下 的 ， 蝗 蟲 來 吃 ； 蝗 蟲 剩 下 的 ， 蝻 子 來 吃 ； 蝻 子 剩 下 的 ， 螞 蚱 來 吃 。

5 酒 醉 的 人 哪 ， 要 清 醒 哭 泣 ； 好 酒 的 人 哪 ， 都 要 為 甜 酒 哀 號 ， 因 為 從 你 們 的 口 中 斷 絕 了 。
