2 Wéidú nǐ kĕyǐ qīnjìn Yēhéhuá , tāmen què bùkĕ qīnjìn , bǎixìng yĕ bùkĕ hé nǐ yītóng shàng lái .

Chūāijíjì 24:2 Meaning and Commentary

Exodus 24:2

And Moses alone shall come near the Lord
Into the cloud where he was, and talk with him face to face, as a man talketh with his friend; which was great nearness indeed, and a peculiar favour and high honour was this:

but they shall not come nigh;
Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel:

neither shall the people go up with him;
not any of them, much less the whole body. It seems, by this account, that Moses had been down from the mount after he had received the laws recorded in the two preceding chapters; though as yet he had not related them to the people, but did before he went up again by the above order, as appears from what follows.

1 Yēhéhuá duì Móxī shuō , nǐ hé Yàlún , Nádā , Yàbǐhù , bìng Yǐsèliè zhǎnglǎo zhōng de qī shí rén , dōu yào shàng dào wǒ zhèlǐ lái , yuǎn yuǎn dì xià baì .

2 Wéidú nǐ kĕyǐ qīnjìn Yēhéhuá , tāmen què bùkĕ qīnjìn , bǎixìng yĕ bùkĕ hé nǐ yītóng shàng lái .

3 Móxī xià shān , jiàng Yēhéhuá de mìnglìng diǎnzhāng dōu shùshuō yǔ bǎixìng tīng . zhòng bǎixìng qí shēng shuō , Yēhéhuá suǒ fēnfu de , wǒmen dōu bì zūnxíng .

4 Móxī jiàng Yēhéhuá de mìnglìng dōu xiè shàng . qīngzǎo qǐlai , zaì shān xià zhú yī zuò tán , àn Yǐsèliè shí èr zhīpaì lì shí èr gēn zhùzi ,

5 Yòu dǎfa Yǐsèliè rén zhōng de shàonián rén qù xiàn Fánjì , yòu xiàng Yēhéhuá xiàn niú wèi píngān jì .
