1 Kings 12:29

And he set the one in Bethel
In the southern part of the land, on the border of Ephraim and Benjamin; and the rather he chose this place, because its name signifies the house of God, and had been a sacred place, where Jacob more than once enjoyed the divine Presence:

and the other put he in Dan:
in the northern part of the land, for the convenience of the inhabitants of those parts; and the rather, since it had been a place resorted to in former times, because of the teraphim of Micah there.

27 Zhè mín ruò shàng Yēlùsǎlĕng qù , zaì Yēhéhuá de diàn lǐ xiànjì , tāmende xīn bì guī xiàng tāmende zhǔ Yóudà wáng Luóbōān , jiù bǎ wǒ shā le , réng guī Yóudà wáng Luóbōān .

28 Yé Luóbōān wáng jiù chóu huá déng tuǒ , zhùzào le liǎng gè jīn niúdú , duì zhòng mín shuō , Yǐsèliè rén nǎ , nǐmen shàng Yēlùsǎlĕng qù shízaì shì nán . zhè jiù shì lǐng nǐmen chū Āijí dì de shén .

29 Tā jiù bǎ niúdú yī zhǐ ān zaì Bótèlì , yī zhǐ ān zaì dàn .

30 Zhè shì jiào bǎixìng xiàn zaì zuì lǐ , yīnwei tāmen wǎng dàn qù baì nà niúdú .

31 Yé Luóbōān zaì qiū tán nàli jiàn diàn , jiāng nà bù shǔ Lìwèi rén de fán mín Lìwèi jìsī .
