1 Xiānzhī méntǔ duì Yǐlìshā shuō , kàn nǎ , wǒmen tóng nǐ suǒ zhù de dìfang guòyú zhǎi xiǎo ,
2 Qiú nǐ róng wǒmen wǎng Yuēdànhé qù , gèrén cóng nàli qǔ yī gēn mù liào jiànzào fángwū jūzhù . tā shuō , nǐmen qù ba .
3 Yǒu yī rén shuō , qiú nǐ yǔ púrén tóng qù . huídá shuō , wǒ kĕyǐ qù .
4 Yúshì Yǐlìshā yǔ tāmen tóng qù . dào le Yuēdànhé , jiù kǎn fá shùmù .
5 Yǒu yī rén kǎn shù de shíhou , fǔ tóu diào zaì shuǐ lǐ , tā jiù hūjiào shuō , āi zāi . wǒ zhǔ a , zhè fǔzi shì jiè de .
6 Shén rén wèn shuō , diào zaì nǎli le . tā jiāng nà dìfang zhǐ gĕi Yǐlìshā kàn . Yǐlìshā kǎn le yī gēn mùtou , pāo zaì shuǐ lǐ , fǔ tóu jiù piāo shàng lái le .
7 Yǐlìshā shuō , ná qǐlai ba . nà rén jiù shēnshǒu ná qǐlai le .

INTRODUCTION TO 2 KINGS 6

In this chapter are recorded other wonders of Elisha, as causing iron to swim, 2Ki 6:1-7 having knowledge of the secret counsels of the king of Syria, which he disclosed to the king of Israel, 2Ki 6:8-12 smiting the Syrian army with blindness sent to take him, and which he led into the midst of Samaria, 2Ki 6:13-23, and the chapter is closed with an account of the siege of Samaria, and a sore famine in it, 2Ki 6:24-33.
