So Michal let David down through a window
In like manner as Rahab let down the spies from her house in Jericho, when the king's messengers were in quest of them, ( Joshua 2:15 ) ; and as the disciples let down the Apostle Paul at Damascus, to preserve him from the designs of the Jews upon him:

and he went, and fled, and escaped;
he departed from his house, and ran with all the haste he could, and escaped the messengers that had beset the house, and were waiting for him.

10 Sǎoluó yòng qiāng xiǎng yào cī tòu Dàwèi , dīng zaì qiáng shàng . tā què duǒ kāi , Sǎoluó de qiāng cī rù qiáng neì . dāng yè Dàwèi taó zǒu , duǒbì le .

11 Sǎoluó dǎfa rén dào Dàwèi de fángwū nàli kuītàn tā , yào dĕng dào tiān liàng shā tā . Dàwèi de qī mǐ jiǎ duì tā shuō , nǐ jīnyè ruò bù taó méng , míngrì nǐ yào beì shā .

13 Mǐ jiǎ bǎ jiā zhōng de shénxiàng fàng zaì chuáng shàng , tóu zhĕn zaì shānyáng maó zhuāng de zhĕntou shǎng , yòng beì zhēgaì .

14 Sǎoluó dǎfa rén qù zhuōná Dàwèi , mǐ jiǎ shuō , tā bìng le .
