38 Guō le shí tiān , Yēhéhuá jī dá ná bā , tā jiù sǐ le .

And it came to pass, about ten days [after]
After he had lain in this stupid and senseless manner for ten days: that the Lord smote Nabal, that he died;
with some disease or increased the grief of his heart, and the fears of his mind that he died therewith.

36 Yà bǐ gāi dào ná bā nàli , jiàn tā zaì jiā lǐ shè bǎi yánxí , rútóng wáng de yánxí . ná bā kuaìlè dà zuì . yà bǐ gāi wúlùn dà xiǎoshì dōu méiyǒu gàosu tā , jiù dĕng dào cì rì zǎochen .

37 Dào le zǎochen , ná bā xǐng le jiǔ , tāde qī jiāng zhèxie shì dōu gàosu tā , tā jiù hún bù fù tǐ , shēn jiāng rú shítou yìbān .

38 Guō le shí tiān , Yēhéhuá jī dá ná bā , tā jiù sǐ le .

39 Dàwèi tīngjian ná bā sǐ le , jiù shuō , yīngdāng chēngsòng Yēhéhuá , yīn tā shēn le ná bā xiūrǔ wǒde yuān , yòu zǔ zhǐ púrén xíng è . yĕ shǐ ná bā de è guī dào ná bā de tóu shàng . yúshì Dàwèi dǎfa rén qù , yǔ yà bǐ gāi shuō , yào qǔ tā wèi qī .
