19 Dàwèi qiú wèn Yēhéhuá shuō , wǒ kĕyǐ shàng qù gōngdǎ Fēilìshì rén ma . nǐ jiāng tāmen jiāo zaì wǒ shǒu lǐ ma . Yēhéhuá shuō , nǐ kĕyǐ shàng qù , wǒ bìjiāng Fēilìshì rén jiāo zaì nǐ shǒu lǐ .

2 Samuel 5:19

And David inquired of the Lord
By Abiathar, and the Urim and Thummim, in the ephod he had on:

saying, shall I go up to the Philistines?
who by this time were gone from the valley to an higher place, to Mount Perazim, as in ( Isaiah 28:21 ) ;

wilt thou deliver them into my hand?
here two questions are put together, and an answer returned to both, contrary to a notion of the Jews, (See Gill on 1 Samuel 23:11);

and the Lord said to David, go up, for I will doubtless deliver the
Philistines into thine hand;
by which oracle he had both the mind of God that he should go up, and was assured of victory.

17 Fēilìshì rén tīngjian rén gāo Dàwèi zuò Yǐsèliè wáng , Fēilìshì zhòngrén jiù shàng lái xún suǒ Dàwèi . Dàwèi tīngjian , jiù xià dào bǎo zhàng .

18 Fēilìshì rén lái le , bù sǎn zaì Lìfáyīn gǔ .

19 Dàwèi qiú wèn Yēhéhuá shuō , wǒ kĕyǐ shàng qù gōngdǎ Fēilìshì rén ma . nǐ jiāng tāmen jiāo zaì wǒ shǒu lǐ ma . Yēhéhuá shuō , nǐ kĕyǐ shàng qù , wǒ bìjiāng Fēilìshì rén jiāo zaì nǐ shǒu lǐ .

20 Dàwèi lái dào bā lì pí là xīn , zaì nàli jī shā Fēilìshì rén , shuō , Yēhéhuá zaì wǒ miànqián chōng pò dírén , rútóng shuǐ chōng qù yìbān . yīncǐ chēng nà dìfang wéi bā lì pí là xīn .

21 Fēilìshì rén jiāng ǒuxiàng piĕ zaì nàli , Dàwèi hé gēnsuí tāde rén ná qù le .
