23 Dàwèi qiú wèn Yēhéhuá . Yēhéhuá shuō , búyào yīzhí dì shàng qù , yào zhuǎn dào tāmen hòutou , cóng sāng lín duìmiàn gōngdǎ tāmen .

2 Samuel 5:23

And when David inquired of the Lord
For though he had success before, and got the victory, he would not engage again with them without having the mind and will of God, on whom he knew victory alone depended:

he said, thou shalt not go up;
that is, directly, and in a straight line:

[but] fetch a compass behind them;
and get to the rear of them, instead of falling upon them in the front:

and come upon them over against the mulberry trees:
which grew in the valley of Rephaim, and near where the Philistines had pitched.

21 Fēilìshì rén jiāng ǒuxiàng piĕ zaì nàli , Dàwèi hé gēnsuí tāde rén ná qù le .

22 Fēilìshì rén yòu shàng lái , bù sǎn zaì Lìfáyīn gǔ .

23 Dàwèi qiú wèn Yēhéhuá . Yēhéhuá shuō , búyào yīzhí dì shàng qù , yào zhuǎn dào tāmen hòutou , cóng sāng lín duìmiàn gōngdǎ tāmen .

24 Nǐ tīngjian sāngshū shāo shàng yǒu jiǎobù de shēngyīn , jiù yào jísù qián qù , yīnwei nàshí Yēhéhuá yǐjing zaì nǐ qiántou qù gōngdǎ Fēilìshì rén de jūnduì .

25 Dàwèi jiù zūn zhe Yēhéhuá suǒ fēnfu de qù xíng , gōngdǎ Fēilìshì rén , cóng Jiābā zhídào jī sè .
