Yǐsīlājì 6

1 Yúshì Dàlìwū wáng jiàng zhǐ , yào xún chá diǎn jí kù neì , jiù shì zaì Bābǐlún cáng bǎowù zhī chù .

2 Zaì Mǐdǐyà shĕng yà mǎ tā chéng de gōng neì xún dé yī juàn , qízhōng jì zhe shuō ,

3 Gǔliè wáng yuán nián , tā jiàng zhǐ lún dào Yēlùsǎlĕng shén de diàn , yào jiànzào zhè diàn wèi xiànjì zhī chù , jiān lì diàn de gēnjī . diàn gāo liù shí zhǒu , kuān liù shí zhǒu ,

4 Yòng sān céng dà shítou , yī céng xīn mùtou , jīngfeì yào chūyú wáng kù .

5 Bìngqiĕ shén diàn de jīn yínqì mǐn , jiù shì Níbùjiǎnísǎ cóng Yēlùsǎlĕng de diàn zhōng lüè dào Bābǐlún de , yào guī hái daì dào Yēlùsǎlĕng de diàn zhōng , gè àn yuán chù fàng zaì shén de diàn lǐ .

6 Xiànzaì hé xī de zǒng dū Dánǎi hé Shìtābōsīnǎi , bìng nǐmen de tóng dǎng , jiù shì zhù hé xī de Yàfǎsàjiā rén , nǐmen dāng yuǎn lí tāmen .

7 Búyào lánzǔ shén diàn de gōngzuò , rènpíng Yóudà rén de shĕng zhǎng , hé Yóudà rén de zhǎnglǎo , zaì yuán chù jiànzào shén de zhè diàn .

8 Wǒ yòu jiàng zhǐ , fēnfu nǐmen xiàng Yóudà rén de zhǎnglǎo wèi jiànzào shén de diàn dāng zĕnyàng xíng , jiù shì cóng hé xī de kuǎn xiàng zhōng , jísù bō qǔ gòng yín zuò tāmende jīngfeì , miǎndé dānwu gōngzuò .

9 Tāmen yǔ tiān shang de shén xiàn Fánjì suǒ xū yòng de gōngniú dú , gōng miányáng , miányáng gāo , bìng suǒ yòng de maìzi , yán , jiǔ , yóu , dōu yào zhào Yēlùsǎlĕng jìsī de huà , mĕi rì gōngjǐ tāmen , bùdé yǒu wù .

10 Hǎo jiào tāmen xiàn xīnxiāng de jì gĕi tiān shang de shén , yòu wèi wáng hé wáng zhòng zǐ de shòuméng qídǎo .

11 Wǒ zaì jiàng zhǐ , wúlùn shuí gēnggǎi zhè mìnglìng , bì cóng tā fángwū zhōng chāi chū yī gēn liáng lái , bǎ tā jǔqǐ , xuán zaì qí shang , yòu shǐ tāde fángwū chéngwéi fèn duī .

12 Ruò yǒu wáng hé mín shēnshǒu gēnggǎi zhè mìnglìng , chāihuǐ zhè diàn , yuàn nà shǐ Yēlùsǎlĕng de diàn zuòwéi tā míng jū suǒ de shén jiāng tāmen mièjué . wǒ Dàlìwū jiàng zhè zhǐyì , dāng sù sù zūnxíng .

13 Yúshì , hé xī zǒng dū Dánǎi hé Shìtābōsīnǎi , bìng tāmende tóng dǎng , yīn Dàlìwū wáng suǒ fā de mìnglìng , jiù jísù zūnxíng .

14 Yóudà zhǎnglǎo , yīn xiānzhī Hāgāi, hé Yìduō de sūnzi Sājiālìyà , suǒ shuō quànmiǎn de huà , jiù jiànzào zhè diàn , fán shì hēng tōng . tāmen zūn zhe Yǐsèliè shén de mìnglìng , hé Bōsī wáng Gǔliè , Dàlìwū , Yàdáxuēxī de zhǐyì , jiànzào wánbì .

15 Dàlìwū wáng dì liù nián , Yàdá yuè chū sān rì , zhè diàn xiū chéng le .

18 Qiĕ paì jìsī hé Lìwèi rén àn zhe bāncì zaì Yēlùsǎlĕng shìfèng shén , shì zhào Móxī lǜfǎ shū shang suǒ xiĕ de .

19 Zhēngyuè shí sì rì , beìlǔ guī huí de rén shǒu Yúyuèjié .

20 Yuánlái , jìsī hé Lìwèi rén yītóng zì jié , wú yī rén bù jiéjìng . Lìwèi rén wèi beìlǔ guī huí de zhòngrén hé tāmende dìxiōng zhòng jìsī , bìng wèi zìjǐ zǎi Yúyuèjié de yánggāo .

21 Cóng lǔ dào zhī dì guī huí de Yǐsèliè rén , hé yīqiè chúdiào suǒ rǎn waìbāngrén wūhuì , guī fù tāmen , yào xúnqiú Yēhéhuá Yǐsèliè shén de rén dōu chī zhè yánggāo ,

22 Huān huānxǐ xǐ dì shǒu Chújiàojié qī rì . yīnwei Yēhéhuá shǐ tāmen huānxǐ , yòu shǐ Yàshù wáng de xīn zhuǎn xiàng tāmen , jiāngù tāmende shǒu , zuò Yǐsèliè shén diàn de gōng chéng .

Chapter 6

The decree for completing the temple. (1-12) The temple is finished. (13-22)

Verses 1-12 When God's time is come for fulfilling his gracious purposes concerning his church, he will raise up instruments to do it, from whom such good service was not expected. While our thoughts are directed to this event, we are led by Zechariah to fix our regard on a nobler, a spiritual building. The Lord Jesus Christ continues to lay one stone upon another: let us assist the great design. Difficulties delay the progress of this sacred edifice. Yet let not opposition discourage us, for in due season it will be completed to his abundant praise. He shall bring forth the head-stone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Verses 13-22 The gospel church, that spiritual temple, is long in the building, but it will be finished at last, when the mystical body is completed. Every believer is a living temple, building up himself in his most holy faith: much opposition is given to this work by Satan and our own corruptions. We trifle, and proceed in it with many stops and pauses; but He that has begun the good work, will see it performed. Then spirits of just men will be made perfect. By getting their sins taken away, the Jews would free themselves from the sting of their late troubles. Their service was with joy. Let us welcome holy ordinances with joy, and serve the Lord with gladness.

Darius, on receiving the letter from his officers in Samaria, searched for the decree of Cyrus, and found it, and which he confirmed, Ezr 6:1-7 and made a fresh decree, and ordered expenses to be given out of his tribute for the building of the temple, and for the sacrifices of it; and that whosoever altered it should be hanged on the timber of his own house, and imprecated a curse on those that should destroy the house of God, Ezr 6:8-12 upon which the building went on, and was finished, Ezr 6:13-15 and the temple was dedicated to God in a solemn manner, Ezr 6:16-18, and the passover was kept by all the people, Ezr 6:19-22.
