My lord asked his servants
The first time they came down to Egypt to buy corn; he puts him in mind of what passed between them at that time: saying, have ye a father or a brother?
which question followed upon their saying that they were the sons of one man, ( Genesis 42:11 ) ( 43:7 ) .

17 约 瑟 说 ： 『 我 断 不 能 这 样 行 ! 在 谁 的 手 中 搜 出 杯 来 ， 谁 就 作 我 的 奴 仆 ； 至 於 你 们 ， 可 以 平 平 安 安 地 上 你 们 父 亲 那 里 去 。 』

18 犹 大 挨 近 他 ， 说 ： 『 我 主 啊 ， 求 你 容 仆 人 说 一 句 话 给 我 主 听 ， 不 要 向 仆 人 发 烈 怒 ， 因 为 你 如 同 法 老 一 样 。

19 我 主 曾 问 仆 人 们 说 ： 「 你 们 有 父 亲 有 兄 弟 没 有 ？ 」

20 我 们 对 我 主 说 ： 「 我 们 有 父 亲 ， 已 经 年 老 ， 还 有 他 老 年 所 生 的 一 个 小 孩 子 。 他 哥 哥 死 了 ， 他 母 亲 只 撇 下 他 一 人 ， 他 父 亲 疼 爱 他 。 」

21 你 对 仆 人 说 ： 「 把 他 带 到 我 这 里 来 ， 叫 我 亲 眼 看 看 他 。 」
