And he put them all out
Of the room, where the maiden lay, all the mourners and pipers; all excepting the parents of the child, and his three disciples, This clause is left out in the Vulgate Latin, and Ethiopic versions; nor was it in two of Beza's ancient copies, and in two of Stephens's; but in the rest, and in the other versions:

and took hereby the hand, and called, saying;
in the Syriac language, "Talitha cumi", as in ( Mark 5:41 )

53 他 们 晓 得 女 儿 已 经 死 了 ， 就 嗤 笑 耶 稣 。

54 耶 稣 拉 着 他 的 手 ， 呼 叫 说 ： 女 儿 ， 起 来 罢 ！

55 他 的 灵 魂 便 回 来 ， 他 就 立 刻 起 来 了 。 耶 稣 吩 咐 给 他 东 西 吃 。

56 他 的 父 母 惊 奇 得 很 ； 耶 稣 嘱 咐 他 们 ， 不 要 把 所 作 的 事 告 诉 人 。
