Acts 10:27

And as he talked with him
About the excessive respect he showed him, and his own infirmity and frailty, and unworthiness, as a creature:

he went in;
to Cornelius's house, at the door, and through the porch, to some interior room and apartment in it:

and found many that were come together;
besides his family, many of his relations and intimate friends, whom he had got together on this occasion, that they might receive some advantage, as well as himself.

25 彼 得 一 进 去 ， 哥 尼 流 就 迎 接 他 ， 俯 伏 在 他 脚 前 拜 他 。

26 彼 得 拉 他 ， 说 ： 你 起 来 ， 我 也 是 人 。

27 彼 得 和 他 说 着 话 进 去 ， 见 有 好 些 人 在 那 里 聚 集 ，

28 就 对 他 们 说 ： 你 们 知 道 ， 犹 太 人 和 别 国 的 人 亲 近 来 往 本 是 不 合 例 的 ， 但 神 已 经 指 示 我 ， 无 论 甚 麽 人 都 不 可 看 作 俗 而 不 洁 净 的 。

29 所 以 我 被 请 的 时 候 ， 就 不 推 辞 而 来 。 现 在 请 问 ： 你 们 叫 我 来 有 甚 麽 意 思 呢 ？
