John 15:13-17

1Greater love has no one than this, 2that someone lay down his life for his friends.
You are 3my friends 4if you do what I command you.
5No longer do I call you servants,[a] for the servant[b] 6 does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for 7all that I have heard from my Father 8I have made known to you.
You did not choose me, but 9I chose you and appointed you that you should go and 10bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that 11whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
These things I command you, 12so that you will love one another.
