1 John 3:11-15

Listen to 1 John 3:11-15
11 For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;
12 unlike Kayin, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Don't be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.
14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn't love his brother remains in death.
15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.

Love, Don't Hate Part 1
Love, Don't Hate Part 1
Jeff Johnson

Would you best be described as a loving person, or full of hate?  Pastor Jeff Johnson says how you answer that says a lot about your spiritual condition.  Today on Sound Doctrine we’ll learn why the Christian is to follow God’s lead by loving other people.  We’ll contrast that with murder and hatred, something that was clearly apparent in the life of Cain.  So turn with us to First John chapter three as we’re exhorted to love and not hate!
