And he said unto them,Rendertherefore unto Caesar the things which beCaesar's,and unto God the things which beGod's.

And they couldnot take hold of hiswordsbefore the people:and they marvelledathisanswer, and held their peace.

Thencame to him certain of the Sadducees,whichdeny that there isanyresurrection; and they askedhim,

Saying, Master,Moseswrote unto us,If any man'sbrotherdie, having a wife,andhedie without children,thathisbrother should take his wife,and raise upseed unto hisbrother.

There werethereforesevenbrethren:and the firsttook a wife, and died without children.

And the secondtook her to wife,andhediedchildless.

And the thirdtookher;and in like manner the sevenalso: and they leftnochildren,anddied.

DavidthereforecallethhimLord,how is hethenhisson?

Then in the audience of all the people he said unto hisdisciples,

Bewareof the scribes,whichdesire to walkin long robes,andlovegreetingsin the markets,and the highest seatsin the synagogues,and the chief roomsatfeasts;

Whichdevourwidows'houses,and for a shewmakelongprayers: the same shall receivegreaterdamnation.
