11
Afterward*camealso the othervirgins,saying, Lord,Lord,open to us.
12
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I knowyounot.
13
Watchtherefore, for ye knowneither the daynor the hourwhereintheSon of mancometh.
14
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his ownservants, anddelivered unto themhisgoods.
15
And unto onehegavefivetalents*,[a] to anothertwo, and to anotherone; to every manaccording to his severalability;andstraightway took his journey.
16
Then he that had received the fivetalentswent and tradedwith the same, andmade them otherfivetalents.
17
Andlikewise he that had receivedtwo,healsogainedothertwo.
18
But he that had receivedonewent and diggedin the earth, andhidhislord'smoney.
19
Afteralongtime the lord of thoseservantscometh, andreckoneth*withthem.
20
And so he that had receivedfivetalentscame and broughtotherfivetalents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto mefivetalents:behold, I have gainedbesidethemfivetalentsmore.
21
Hislordsaid unto him, Well done, thou goodandfaithfulservant: thou hast beenfaithfulover a few things, I will maketheerulerover many things: enter thouinto the joy of thylord.
22
Healso that had receivedtwotalentscame and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto metwotalents:behold, I have gainedtwoothertalentsbesidethem.
23
Hislordsaid unto him, Well done, goodandfaithfulservant; thou hast beenfaithfulover a few things, I will maketheerulerover many things: enter thouinto the joy of thylord.
24
Thenhe which had received the onetalentcame and said, Lord, I knewtheethat thou art an hardman, reapingwhere thou hastnotsown, andgatheringwhere thou hastnotstrawed:
25
And I was afraid, and went and hidthytalentin the earth:lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26
Hislordanswered and said unto him, Thou wickedandslothfulservant, thou knewestthat I reapwhere I sowednot, andgatherwhere I havenotstrawed:
27
Thououghtesttherefore to have putmymoney to the exchangers, and then at my comingIshould have received mine ownwithusury.
28
Taketherefore the talentfromhim, andgive it unto him which hathtentalents.
29
For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: butfromhim that hathnot shall be taken away*even that which he hath.
30
And cast ye the unprofitableservantintoouterdarkness:there shall beweepingandgnashing of teeth.
31
WhentheSon of man shall comeinhisglory, andall the holyangelswithhim, then shall he situpon the throne of hisglory:
32
Andbeforehim shall be gatheredallnations:and he shall separatethemonefromanother,as a shepherddivideth his sheepfrom the goats:
33
And he shall set* the sheeponhis right hand, but the goatson the left.
34
Then shall the Kingsay unto them onhis right hand,Come, ye blessed of myFather, inherit the kingdomprepared for youfrom the foundation of the world:
35
For I was an hungred, and ye gavememeat: I was thirsty, and ye gavemedrink: I was a stranger, and ye tookmein:
36
Naked, and ye clothedme: I was sick, and ye visitedme: I wasinprison, and ye cameuntome.
37
Then shall the righteousanswerhim, saying, Lord, when saw wethee an hungred, andfed thee? orthirsty, and gave thee drink?
38
When saw wethee a stranger, and took thee in? ornaked, andclothed thee?
40
And the King shall answer and say unto them,Verily I say unto you,Inasmuchas ye have done it unto one of the least of thesemybrethren, ye have done it unto me.
