And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why do you discuss the fact that you havenobread? 1Do you not yetseeorunderstand? Do you have a hardenedheart?

"2HAVINGEYES, DO YOU NOT SEE? AND HAVINGEARS, DO YOU NOT HEAR? And do you not remember,

when I broke3the fiveloaves for the fivethousand, howmany4basketsfull of brokenpieces you picked up?" They said to Him, "Twelve."

"When I broke 5the seven for the fourthousand, howmanylarge6basketsfull of brokenpieces did you pick up?" And they said to Him, "Seven."

And He was saying to them, "7Do you not yetunderstand?"

And they came to 8Bethsaida. And they brought a blindman to Jesus and implored Him to 9touch him.

Taking the blindman by the hand, He 10brought him out of the village; and after 11spitting on his eyes and 12laying His hands on him, He asked him, "Do you seeanything?"

And he looked up and said, "I seemen, for I see them liketrees, walkingaround."

Thenagain He laid His hands on his eyes; and he lookedintently and was restored, and began to seeeverythingclearly.

And He sent him to his home, saying, "Do not evenenter13the village."
