He looked at them and said, âGo show yourselves to the priests.â And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.

One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, âPraise God!â

He fell to the ground at Jesusâ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan.

Jesus asked, âDidnât I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?

Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?â

And Jesus said to the man, âStand up and go. Your faith has healed you. â

One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, âWhen will the Kingdom of God come?â Jesus replied, âThe Kingdom of God canât be detected by visible signs.

You wonât be able to say, âHere it is!â or âItâs over there!â For the Kingdom of God is already among you. â

Then he said to his disciples, âThe time is coming when you will long to see the day when the Son of Man returns, but you wonât see it.

People will tell you, âLook, there is the Son of Man,â or âHere he is,â but donât go out and follow them.
24
For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so it will be on the day when the Son of Man comes.
