Genesis 33:2

And he put the handmaids and their children foremost
In the first division, as being less honourable and less beloved by him: and Leah and her children after;
still according to the degree of honour and affection due unto them; Leah being a wife that was imposed and forced upon him: and Rachel and Joseph hindermost;
being most beloved by him, and therefore most careful of them; Rachel being his principal and lawful wife, and who had the greatest share in his affection, and Joseph his only child by her.

1 Jacob y Esaú se reconcilian
Entonces Jacob levantó la vista y vio a Esaú, quien se acercaba con sus cuatrocientos hombres. Por eso, repartió a los niños entre Lea, Raquel y sus dos esposas esclavas.

2 Colocó en el frente a sus dos esposas esclavas con sus respectivos hijos, después a Lea con sus hijos, y por último a Raquel y a José.

3 Entonces Jacob se adelantó a todos ellos. Cuando se aproximó a su hermano, se inclinó hasta el suelo siete veces delante de él.

4 Entonces Esaú corrió a su encuentro y lo abrazó, puso los brazos alrededor de su cuello y lo besó. Y ambos lloraron.

5 Después Esaú miró a las mujeres y a los niños, y preguntó:
—¿Quiénes son esas personas que vienen contigo?
—Son los hijos que Dios, en su misericordia, me ha dado a mí, tu siervo —contestó Jacob.
