1 Kings 14:22

And Judah did evil in the sight of the Lord
At the end of three years, from the beginning of the reign of Rehoboam:

and they provoked him to jealousy, with their sins which they had
committed, above all that their fathers had done;
that is, with their idolatries; for they were the sins which moved the Lord to jealousy, and provoked the eyes of his glory; in which they had outdone not the ten tribes, but their fathers, in the times of Moses, Joshua, and the judges, and of their kings before their separation, Saul, David, and Solomon.

20 Jeroboán reinó veintidós años. Cuando murió, su hijo Nadab lo sucedió en el trono.

21 Roboán hijo de Salomón fue rey de Judá. Tenía cuarenta y un años cuando ascendió al trono, y reinó diecisiete años en Jerusalén, la ciudad donde, de entre todas las tribus de Israel, el SEÑOR había decidido habitar. La madre de Roboán era una amonita llamada Noamá.

23 Además, en todas las colinas y bajo todo árbol frondoso se construyeron santuarios paganos, piedras sagradas e imágenes de la diosa Aserá.

24 Incluso había en el país hombres que practicaban la prostitución sagrada. El pueblo participaba en todas las repugnantes ceremonias de las naciones que el SEÑOR había expulsado del territorio de los israelitas.
