28 En el momento de nacer, uno de los mellizos sac贸 la mano; la partera le at贸 un hilo rojo en la mano, y dijo: 芦Este sali贸 primero禄.

Genesis 38:28

And it came to pass when she travailed
Her birth throes came strong and quick upon her: that [the one] put out [his] hand;
which showed that she was like to have a difficult and dangerous time of it; that the birth was not like to be according to the usual and natural order, which may be considered as a correction for her sin: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying,
this came out first;
she tied this to his wrist, that she might know whose hand it was, and so which was the firstborn; which, to know was a matter of consequence, since to the firstborn there were some special and peculiar privileges.

26 Jud谩 los reconoci贸 y declar贸: 芦Su conducta es m谩s justa que la m铆a, pues yo no la di por esposa a mi hijo Sel谩禄. Y no volvi贸 a acostarse con ella.
27 Cuando lleg贸 el tiempo de que Tamar diera a luz, result贸 que ten铆a mellizos en su seno.
28 En el momento de nacer, uno de los mellizos sac贸 la mano; la partera le at贸 un hilo rojo en la mano, y dijo: 芦Este sali贸 primero禄.
29 Pero en ese momento el ni帽o meti贸 la mano, y sali贸 primero el otro. Entonces la partera dijo: 芦隆C贸mo te abriste paso!禄 Por eso al ni帽o lo llamaron Fares.
30 Luego sali贸 su hermano, con el hilo rojo atado en la mano, y lo llamaron Zera.
