Luke 6:46

And why call ye me Lord, Lord
Or, "my Lord, my Lord", as the Syriac version renders it; acknowledging, in words, his government over them; claiming an interest in him, and making use of his name and authority:

and do not the things which I say;
or "command"; and therefore such words in their mouths would be of no use to them, since they neither did his Father's will, which he taught them, nor observed his commands and ordinances which he enjoined them; and therefore should not enter into the kingdom of heaven, nor be owned by him another day, but should be bid to depart from him; (See Gill on Matthew 7:21). 44 A cada árbol se le reconoce por su propio fruto. No se recogen higos de los espinos ni se cosechan uvas de las zarzas.

45 El que es bueno, de la bondad que atesora en el corazón produce el bien; pero el que es malo, de su maldad produce el mal, porque de lo que abunda en el corazón habla la boca.

47 Voy a decirles a quién se parece todo el que viene a mí, y oye mis palabras y las pone en práctica:

48 Se parece a un hombre que, al construir una casa, cavó bien hondo y puso el cimiento sobre la roca. De manera que cuando vino una inundación, el torrente azotó aquella casa, pero no pudo ni siquiera hacerla tambalear porque estaba bien construida.
