2 Hab铆a all铆 un centuri贸n, cuyo siervo, a quien 茅l estimaba mucho, estaba enfermo, a punto de morir.

Luke 7:2

And a certain centurion's servant
The same that Matthew makes mention of, ( Matthew 8:5 Matthew 8:6 ) , (See Gill on Matthew 8:5). (See Gill on Matthew 8:6).

who was dear unto him;
to the centurion, being an honest, upright, faithful, and obliging servant; as Tabi was to Rabban Gamaliel, of whom his master said F12,

``Tabi my servant, is not as other servants, (hyh rvk) , "he is upright".''

was sick:
of a palsy; see ( Matthew 8:6 ) ,

and ready to die;
in all appearance his case was desperate, and there was no help for him by any human means, which makes the following cure, the more remarkable.

3 Como oy贸 hablar de Jes煤s, el centuri贸n mand贸 a unos dirigentes de los jud铆os a pedirle que fuera a sanar a su siervo.
4 Cuando llegaron ante Jes煤s, le rogaron con insistencia:鈥擡ste hombre merece que le concedas lo que te pide:
5 aprecia tanto a nuestra naci贸n, que nos ha construido una sinagoga.
